This is why you should hire us

We are very good at building Joomla based websites but so are many other people. We are not the cheapest. We are probably not the quickest. But, there is one good reason you should hire us and it's not for our good looks.

Every week at JoomStore we get several new business enquiries coming through our inbox. Mostly, requests for proposals to build new sites or redevelop old Joomla sites.

A large portion of the enquiries we get are fix ups and rescue jobs. It never ceases to amaze me how many people contact us after shelling out money to "developers" only to end up with a very sub standard or completely unusable website. In many cases, their developer has simply disappeared off the face of the earth and refused to answer emails and phone calls. We've even had people tell us their developer has gone back to Uni or got a "real" job.

I feel sad for these customers. Most have never gone through the process of building a website and don't know what to expect. They are usually small businesses, Mum and Dad operations with small budgets. Losing several thousand dollars out of their marketing budget to a dodgy web developer could be the fatal set back that sends their business into the red or worse.

Unfortunately, the web development industry has a very low entry requirement.  A sixteen year old with no experience can set up a CMS with a $25 template and a hand full of free plugins and on the surface look like a seasoned web expert. It can be hard to sort the pros from the amateurs. Be sure to dig a little.

Check your developer's portfolio and try to determine how long they've been in business. Follow up with their past customers. Be wary of the price. Cheapest is rarely the best value. You did get more than one quote, didn't you? If they are the cheapest and they can start tomorrow, RUN.

Anyway, to the topic of this post - Why should you hire us? Well, here it is.

We do what we say we are going to do

That's it.

We won't be the cheapest. In fact, we may be the most expensive. Sometimes, before accepting a project, we may recommend you limit your scope to achieve your goal within your budget. If we think something can't be done or shouldn't be done, we'll discuss it with you and recommend an alternative solution. Sometimes during production we fall a little behind our schedules. We are human after all. But, if we submit a proposal covering a list of design requirements and functionality, know that it will be done.
